The Fish Fry fundraiser for the Midland Area Reading Council on Friday October 26th was a great success and a testament to our strong community spirit

I want to thank you for your generosity in supporting the evening. We were able to raise about $2,000, which has gone directly to helping the Midland Area Reading Council.

Mayors Gerry Marshall, Gord McKay and Deputy Mayor Stephan Kramp along with their wives joined my family, staff and volunteers, to serve the constituents who attended in support of literacy in our community. The success of the event was aided by E.L.M. catering and their fantastic meal, Adrian Robitaille for entertainment, and “Fresh by Leanne” for the beautiful centerpieces.

We’re looking forward to building on this year’s success in 2013.
