Questions or concerns about water levels or flooding should be directed to your local municipality, or the Lake Simcoe Conservation Authority for those concerned about Lake Simcoe. Local municipalities are the lead communicator to the public regarding flood conditions in areas where there is no Conservation Authority (as is the case on the Severn and Black Rivers). They receive their information from the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, which, in turn, gets its information from the Trent-Severn Waterway-Parks Canada.
